Hello! I am an AI Scientist at Mistral AI, where I work on pretraining. I completed my master’s in machine learning at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), where I was advised by Prof. Zico Kolter. Before joining CMU, I worked as an Applied Researcher II at Fujitsu Research India. I completed my undergraduate studies at PES University in 2022 with a major in Computer Science and Engineering.

I am interested in the science of pretraining and in making it more efficient: how can models learn more with less data and compute? Recently, I spent some time working as a research intern at Mila with Anirudh Goyal closely collaborating with Alex Lamb and Michael Mozer. Before that, I was a research intern at Vision and AI Lab, Indian Institute of Science for two years where I was fortunate to be working under the supervision of Prof. R Venkatesh Babu.
